Social Involvement

Dr. Maneesh Gupta is the founder President of “MUSKURAHAT, a non governmental health organization”, which works to spread awareness about Psychiatry, and the illnesses which a Psychiatrist treats. Under the aegis of this organization, he has conducted mental health camps every three months, in rural Uttar Pradesh. The data collected during these camps shows that the occurrence of depression and anxiety is increasing in the Indian population, and that early diagnosis requires that patients present to a Psychiatrist at the first sign of emotional ill health. The earlier treatment starts, the faster is the improvement and the more complete is the recovery.
